Delete Your PassNote Account
Account deletion removes your Firebase Authentication account and the associated Firestore user record containing your encrypted vault. This action cannot be undone.
Delete your account in the app
- Open PassNote and sign in to the account you want to delete.
- Open Profile or Settings.
- Select Delete Account.
- Review the warning and confirm deletion.
The app may ask you to sign in again if the authentication provider requires recent verification.
Request deletion without app access
If you cannot access the app, send a deletion request from the email address associated with your PassNote account. Include “Delete my PassNote account” in the subject. Do not include passwords or your encryption key.
Support may request additional verification before processing the request.
What deletion covers
- Your Firebase Authentication account
- Your Firestore user record, including the encrypted vault payload and profile fields stored with it
- Your ability to sign in and synchronize that vault
Deletion from provider backups may follow the provider's backup rotation. Analytics, advertising, fraud-prevention, purchase, tax, and support records may remain for the provider's retention period or where law requires them. See the Privacy Policy retention section.
Cancel subscriptions separately
Deleting your account does not cancel an Apple or Google subscription. Cancel it through the store account used for purchase.
