Security Checklist After Import
Important
Exported CSV and JSON files contain readable passwords so another
app can import them. Protect yourself after importing:
-
Delete the export file from your Downloads or
Files folder immediately after confirming your PassNote vault.
-
Empty your Trash / Recently Deleted folder on
your computer, phone, and cloud drive.
-
Run Password Health (PRO) in PassNote to spot
any old weak or reused passwords worth updating.
